I love the Audible app. I've been using Audible since the days when I had to burn my own CDs. This app is convenient and works well. My only suggestion is add a manual sleep timer option where I can set my own time. 5/5

Overall pretty good. My main complaint is that app stops running in the background after disconnecting from my car bluetooth after an unknown number of hours. That means I have to restart the app before getting back in my car rendering the whole resume play on connection feature pointless. I emailed support but received no response after answering their questions. 4/5

Please stop hiding the sleep timer button inside of a settings menu. I don't want to have an extra button push. I never want to speed up the playback, can't you hide that? 4/5

Very useful to use the timer function when listening late at night. Dumb decision to remove the button in the last update. I know you can get to it from a menu but surely timer Is used much more than the speed control... 2/5

The earlier version of this app had controls specifically for the headset. The new app is missing the ability to rewind 30 secs using the previous track button, which was really useful. Please reinstate this, fed up with going back to beginning of chapter by mistake :( 2/5

I drive for a living, and I love to read. Audible was the obvious answer for my situation. I haven't had any problems with the app, though I do have a few suggestions. Why does the cover art have to take up so much screen real estate? I think that space could be better used for larger, more spaced out buttons. Maybe have them more like Beyond Pod podcast player as a suggestion. But all in all nothing to complain about. 5/5

The latest version won't sort by 'recent' correctly. If it is the most recent download, you're fine, but if it's just the one you've been listening to, well, too bad. When you only have a few titles it isn't so bad, but when you have hundreds, it sucks. 2/5

There is nowhere for me to login on the homepage on my Asus Zenpad s8. This might be a bug? I've never had an issue before, and I would love to access my books! 3/5

Very useful app. Great to listen to when you're too tired to read. They have many great self help books that really teaches you a lot about life. 5/5

But needs a proper tablet layout, Chromecast support and resizeable widgets. Widgets look bad on Nexus 6 as its 5 icons wide vs the default 4 on Audible, just about every widget is resizeable so I'm not sure what the issue is. 4/5

Why change the UI, I have to press several buttons to set sleep timer (as opposed to 1 previously), yet I can change the speed of playback without digging into menus - I've never listened to it at different speed! 2/5

the app has improved tremendously with the last few updates! battery usage is down to less than five percent, it's easier to navigate, downloads are faster, and the app closes itself when appropriate. will definitely go back to recommending it. 5/5

Please enable much longer sleep mode, say up to 2hrs - 1hr is too short. 4/5

I have listen on creative Zen, Santa fuze, iPod, iPhone and know Droid. If this were my first experience with you all I would never have renewed after first month. Are you going to try and fix this with icecream sandwich? And with all these updates...we don't have sleep timer in portrait mode. 1/5

They still are too lazy to fix the bookmark button on the Lock screen- it doesn't provide feedback to know if it worked. It flashes before your finger is released. The scanning time bar is difficult to use, there's no fine time scanning. Also would be nice to access or export your book notes to a text file for further quick note reference. No chapter titles, just chapter numbers you don't know where you are in the book. No access to reference material from app. 1/5

Hoped this update would fix the crashing, but it seems worse. 4 times today the app crashed, giving a msg "currently unavailable for download..." Im not trying to download anything. This is a paid app and the worst working one i use. Plz fix! Galaxy S5 2/5

This app works fantastic. Samsung S4. My only complaint is the amount of books that I am not allowed to download because of country restrictions. That really sucks and sometimes this can be the second or third book of a series with the first title being available. Other than that the app itself runs nice although it does occasionally crash but only when I'm browsing and never when I'm listening to a purchased book. 4/5

Constant problems with the app. Split downloaded books pausing at midpoints rather than continuing despite settings, purchasing simply not working some days, and app freezing after finishing a book are just some of the problems i have encountered even after updating. But the audiobooks themselves are of great quality and definately good value. 2/5

Good but doesn't preserve any chapter information from the original text, i.e. chapters are simply numbered rather than titled, there is often no section information, and chapters may not correspond to the originals. One example: Ulysses in print has 3 named parts and a total of 18 episodes, each with a meaningful title (Telemachus, Nestor, Proteus, etc.). The Audible version, in other respects very well done, simply gives 25 numbered "chapters" (not 18). This is a significant loss of information. Preserving it would greatly enhance the value of what we are after all paying for. Note that this appears to be across all of Audible's range, not just the Android app. Unfortunately their virtual monopoly means it's unlikely to change. 3/5

I have a Note 5. Occasionally, this app will close on its own at five minute intervals and wipe out my home screen background. I have to restart my phone to get it to stop. This is annoying when I'm driving. My city has a law against using your phone while driving too, so I either sit in silence or wait for a stop... Please fix this!!! Otherwise it's fine and usually functional. 3/5

Keeps me resting at night when frequently can't sleep. Just listen and get up more refreshed than when used to wander around house. 5/5
