Review without rank OpenSignal app by Trevor Smith
Nice app at first glance. But suddenly, my phone will not power up. Call ATT and she said, she also loaded it and caused the same problem. Too bad... its a virus infested app. Perhaps the developer does not know about it.

Showed Verizon towers in the past, now none are displayed on the map. Bummer, that is why I got the app. Please fix this! 1/5
Positive review Super useful app by anonym
This app gives you the information you need if you're on the road and need to stay connected, or want to know where to go to optimize your signal. Beautiful simple interface. 4/5
Positive review It's a great but not accurate. by anonym
This App can be more screened for more accurate reading of towers of diff service provider. 4/5
Negative review Bad update on marshmallow by anonym
Unfortunately open signal has stopped. Program crashes with this error message after 4.14 update. And yes, I have restarted my phone. 2/5
Positive review Interesting! by anonym
Living on the edge of coverage this app confirms what guessed how weather can reduce signal strength. It also fascinates me that you cant predict where the strong signals are. Now I don't have to guess. 5/5
Positive review A good tool by anonym
Interesting assortment of data concerning data and WiFi signals. It can even tell you what direction the nearest cell tower is in. Also has carrier specific info. 5/5
Negative review Not working on moto g running bliss pop rom by anonym
App crashes as soon as launched. 1/5
Negative review No cell towers by anonym
Maybe I'm doing something wrong but there's no towers shown on the map, even though the compass points in the right direction 2/5
Neutral review Ok by anonym
I'm from Provence of Ontario and we don't have your big five service providers. Other than that, this app Rock's. 3/5
Negative review Out of range? by anonym
Most of the time in my house, according to this app I'm conntected to a tower by a yellow line which (when I tap on it) shows as out of range? I don't think this app is working properly on my phone : 2/5
Negative review Decreased screen-on time by anonym
Always running background process never stops CPU utilization, even after disabling all the background reporting, it keeps the CPU running whenever the screen is on. 2/5
Positive review Tool Of The Year by anonym
Well its very useful for bad signal mostly just gives info i like how it points where the strong signal is coming from i like how it shows you which Tower your on or near & speed test gotta love speed test great app thumbs up ? 5/5

Positive review Smart and very useful! by anonym
This is best network finding app I've used in awhile. It does what it promises and delivers some great network stats with a clean and easy to use interface. I deff recommend it, if you want to know where that Internet is! 5/5
Neutral review Bugs... And can't report signal strength manually by anonym
When looking at maps, network only shows "all" radio button after initial selection . The other network buttons disappear after initial selection. 3/5
Positive review Great improvement by anonym
So much better than previous version I tried several years ago. Nice features and intuitive interface, good job! 5/5
Positive review Very good but BTS source not accurate by anonym

Positive review Wow! by anonym
This app is amazing! I was astonished by the accuracy of the maps. It was also good to have confirmation of my experience in connection with the sudden drop-off in Verizon service in my home for the last 4 months. 5/5
Negative review Permission agressive. by anonym
Well, I'd suggest you review the terms of usage for your program. It's getting me the impression of being watched over my shoulder constantly. 1/5
Neutral review I liked it on first impression... by anonym
But the map of cell towers never populates. It shows my current location but never shows any towers. Map never loads. **Edit 7/6/16 - cell tower maps still never load. Disappointing since it's the main reason I'm trying this app. Really wish this issue would be fixed. Also, why is there always running processes for this app, after restart, and app not initiated after restart? Ready to uninstall until devs fix. 3/5
Negative review by anonym
Used to be perfect, but latest update on 5.07.2016, still has not solved the problem of the line showing which tower I am connected to being missing from the map. Towers are now also missing but map does show my location. Hope these issues can be fixed because the app was great when it worked 2/5
Positive review Really useful app by anonym
I use it almost every day. Genuinely useful for finding good coverage areas and comparing networks. I especially like the ping stats as it is low ping (network latency) that really makes a connection feel snappy (as opposed to raw throughput, as some networks would have you believe). 5/5
Positive review Bugs/laggy by anonym
The splash screen is sometimes shown when returning from the cell map. Also the display meters in the main screen are not always updated showing ie wrong distance to cell even if the map shows correctly and is fixed by force quit. Also seems to get slower by the update 4/5
Negative review The data it shows is nonsense by anonym
I like the idea but the information is very unreliable. The arrow points in a different direction to where the map shows I am connected, the power dial shows high data connectivity even when the phone is on the edge of 1 bar of reception and calls are not possible. Even standing underneath the tower I was supposedly connected to (I couldn't see the tower) I only had 2 bars of reception. I fear that this unreliable information creates an unreliable coverage map. 1/5
