Everything about downloading songs to mobile device is a bit complicated and confusing. Songs i downloaded manualy are mixed with those that are only cached when played. When playlist is updated on server, changes are not synced to device. 3/5

Speed of navigating in folders is slow, disconnects from playing device, doesnot start, etc. 3/5

The app is ok and it looks good but there are some issues. Give us the ability when in folder view, to be able to sort by date created, BPM, length... Speed enhancements would also be appreciated. 3/5

This app lets down the whole Synology experience which is pretty awesome. The UI is crap, the app is buggy, overall it's a total donkey and needs to be shot then rebuilt from ground up. 1/5

Doesn't disappear from top bar on exit and keeps cutting out when streaming music (even though other dlna players on same system work well). Pretty unusable. 2/5

The app works as expected but after I'm done play the persistent notification comes back and I cannot swipe it away. I have to open the Android app setting and turn notifications on/off to disappear. Really annoying bug. 3/5

After making it work with http and https (it was not for both), the app hangs or crashes with stupid bugs. Radio is not working at all with chromecast. 1/5

Really good as it recognises multiple output sources; apple airplay and chromecast. Fast responsive but not polished as, for example playlists are a little clunky. 4/5

Playback doesn't start correctly on Nexus5 and Nexus6P, when selecting a new track in the middle of a playlist audio stops and restarts many times even if cache is almost full, very annoying... please fix ? 2/5

Works very well for me with two annoyances. The album art display for downloaded songs is very sketchy and seems to come and go. Switch to Library and all album covers display fine. Switch to Downloaded and no album art displayed for 9 out of 10 albums. Wish there was a way to refresh the album art for all songs without having to re-download them all. Lastly, having no exit facility is a pain, need to force close it all the time to actually exit it. 4/5

Good app although a bit laggy. My main gripe is that airplay stopped working recently - the app just hangs in a one second loop when I try to play a song through airplay to an Airport Express. 3/5

It worked for a while. But now with the latest update, it launches music every time my phone disconnects bluetooth from my car. For a while it launched everytime I entered my car, but I found a workaround for that one. This time, I had enough and uninstalled it. 2/5

Nice app, although it has a strange user interface. But what's more annoying is that it keeps coming back, even if I kill it. It's basically in my notification bar all the time. I cannot seem to get rid of it. 2/5

No longer finds my DNLA certified receiver, asking for a PIN which does not appear anywhere. Can find it from Audiostation. Wish I never purchased Synology NAS, there is always something giving trouble, if it's not one thing it's something else, especially after something updates. 1/5

After last update when I send music to my Monitor DNLA speaker the,app starts to play music then switches back to phone. It then will not allow me to control the music to any DNLA device 1/5

I have Synology DS214se with DSM 6.0 and I run there Audio Station as well as Media Station. I installed DS Audio on my phone mostly to control streaming music from my NAS to my DLNA/UPnP stereo receivers. This works OK. Yet DS Audio works very slowly on my Asus Zenfone 2 because my music library is quite large (~4TB of songs). It is so slow that it user experience is poor. If the app could store the DB on the phone and update it periodically, it could run faster and smoother, once you play a song, it anyway should only tell the renderer (my DLNA receiver) the pointer to the song to pull from the NAS, right? But, I think Synology is on the right track and I will keep using DS Audio for the time being. 3/5

DS apps don't need to run in the background constantly even when I've logged out of them and haven't used them for days. And lately it seems to timeout or lose connection to my DiskStation in just a few minutes if I pause it. 1/5

Was a nice application. Latest update though keeps sending me back to my phones playlist instead of my usb speakers (mdac). If i stop playback then and only then i can see my usb speakers playlist. 3/5

There seems to be a delay when loading album art for display on Android Auto. Thus can be reproduced by starting a playlist and skipping a few songs -- as it switches, it starts to lag as it loads album art. Note: as a fellow dev, would love if there was an SDK for NAS access via quick connect. 4/5

Good App... Simple no fuss...does all the "basic things" a music playback app should........ #1 Needs a Playlist Widget for quick play straight from the desktop... May be an option for Tasker integration will be Super helpfyl... #2 I hate that the App does not exit and stays in the Notification drawer despite click "Yes" during Exiting. Why can't the play notification be dismissed any longer? Even closing ds audio keeps it there, but ds audio keeps running in the background for no reason. Force close is the only option. 2/5

Forgets its chrashes all the time... Reboot phone, log out, log in, reboot phone. Forgets that I am loggwd in. Then it works again... pfff! The list is endless. Crap program made for really good hardware.. 1/5

This app needs a design refresh. I'm now using plex app because this always logs you out when you close it. Takes too much time to log. I don't have that problem with plex. I'm always logged in and the plex app immediately starts playing content. I'm not happy with the development of this app and the functionality. Also the player control needs to have the ability to select previous and next track. I hate the when I close the app I can't remove it from my notification panel. 1/5

I find it annoying that clicking on a song enqueues all the songs in the directory. A lot of times I want to play only one song. Need the ability to customize the default click action. It also keeps getting stuck in the notification area and I can't get rid of it. The only way to stop it is force stop 2/5
