Decent by anonymScans most barcodes, some QR codes. I love the search feature even when I'm not at the store... best price comparison I've found. It doesn't always find local prices, sometimes just online, which is annoying, but still fast and helpful for Christmas and birthday shopping. 4/5

Bar code no-scanner by anonymI have to type in every bar code because it refuses to scan, but other than that it's a great and handy tool for work 4/5

RedLaser by anonymHelpful, but search engine needs to be more flexible: it should be able to return only women's items when that is the 1st word in the request--But it doesn't. Very frustrating, It's okay with online listings. Needs more locally available items. 3/5

Sucks for me. by anonymAfter reading such good reviews i am seriously dissappointed. I was only able to get it to scan 1 barcode and the search turn up with no results what so ever. So far of all the bar code scanners i have not found even 1 that works very well for me, but i have found better than this one. Improve this app and i will rate with 5 stars for not its 1. 1/5

Wish it worked better by anonymIt's okay, I guess. Wish that it would give you the actual price, of a product. I scanned about 10 different items, and got the exact same price, all times for Wal-Mart. The exact same price for every item, and they were the wrong price 3/5

Does not auto focus by anonymDoes not focus when trying to scan a barcode using my phone. I have to wait 20-30 seconds to get one single scan. Its a nice app still. Get good deals online. 4/5
RedLaser by anonymIt works pretty good but it duplicates itself sometimes and some online pricing to local pricing are sometimes different even though its the same store. Plus I have to enter every single bar code manually because for some reason my phone wont scan the product barcode which would make it much faster and easier. But I'm pretty sure that's because my phone kinda sucks and is only a 3G and not a 4G like most people have . But besides that seems to work pretty good. 3/5

Very useful tool by anonymVery easy to use, way more functionality than I was expecting. I just wanted a QR reader, but now I'm scanning barcodes on everything around me just for fun/curiosity. Disregard others complaints about limited local deals, that will surely improve with time, as the app becomes more popular. - LG G3, Android 4.4.2 5/5
Red Laser by anonymExcellent software. Installed with no problems. Performs as a top notch scanner. Easily reads barcodes and fires up a search engine locating the scanned product on the Net in seconds. I highly recommend this software. Again it's easy to install and operate. 5/5
Useless by anonymCompletely useless everything I've scanned with the help of this crappie app has had no price apart from one which goes like this. PS4 for like £21 I clicked on it it was a complete different item. Pathetic! 1/5
Crap by anonymUsed to love it but now I hate it. It doesn't scan ANYTHING anymore without great difficulty, if it ever scans at all. I just need a reliable code scanner, not shopping info. Too many shopping bells and whistles while the scanner functionality has gone massively downhill. Bye Red Laser. You have been uninstalled. 1/5

Not great yet by anonymThis app has a great concept, the problem is the stupid scanner needs help.....it doesn't scan right away, since times I get frustrated at this because it's does not pick up all of the coded QR's 3/5
So far so good... by anonymScans quickly even in several dimly lit conditions. Red Laser utilizes the flash on your phone to illuminate a darkened subject with a light bulb icon you press. Some items didn't show results. Very very few. I was able to get localized results. Some for Target & Walmart right down the road from me. Even the telephone numbers & map directions. I like the colorful interface & related suggestions. I'm on Android KitKat 4.4.4 and it worked seamlessly with the quad core processor in my ZTE Grand X Max+. Good. 5/5

Simple, but effective. by anonymAlthough some of the functionality within this application is restricted to North America - a fact which has caused a star to be lost - it is still quite handy to have around... Barcodes (and in particular, QR codes) are popping-up all over the place these days and this handy, reliable application will let you use all of them! 4/5

Stinking Now by anonymI've quit using this app over the last year or so ever since it hasn't been able to focus correctly on ANY code I aim it at. It's not my phone--my other one nails every one of them, every time. I feel the maker of this app merely got preoccupied with delivering 'shopping data' (showing users 'deals' on the web for each item scanned), and lost track of the basic functions of the original app. 1/5
Absolutely Not Recommended by anonymPlease note the CURRENT (NOV2014) reviews are fairly accurate. Unable to scan prices quickly if at all. Have to enter manually. Also will direct you to EBAY mostly . CYBER MONDAY AND NO TRENDING ..ETC.. oh well..will try to see if the bugs get out and can actually PRICE SCAN and COMPARE...good luck folks. 1/5

Great product, needs better upc scanner by anonymApp does a great job with giving prices on countless items. Only problem is the tool to scan the upc code thru your devices camera is junk, never works. I have to manually input the upc code. 4/5
Works lousy in Lollipop by anonymRed Laser works great on iOS, but lousy for Android Lollipop 5.0.1. It will not detect a simple URL as a QR code. By comparison, Kaywa Reader has no issues whatsoever scanning the same QR code. 1/5

Doesn't live up to the hype by anonymI manually entered a Samsung 850 pro 256gb ssd - a pretty hot consumer item I would think. The only result it gave was....eBay. Ebay US at that. Not everyone lives in the US - only about 4% of world population. Uninstalling. 1/5
