Positive review Very slick and easy to use by anonym
My one gripe is that the podcast management could be more intuitive. Took me a while to work out how to get it to download casts by adding to a playlist. But other than that, can't fault it. 5/5
Negative review great if you can stream your podcasts, ignore if you need to download them by anonym
I like what rssdemon tries to do. My problem is a bug that comes up repeatedly on my phone. I use rssdemon to download podcasts to listen to while at work or driving. In order to listen to radio traffic i sometimes have to pause audio playback. Today i was trying to go around the bug while listening to a podcast i was enjoying by not pausing the player if it was at all possible. Suddenly i get an email, my phone beeps, which causes rssdemon to be paused. i click play, and receive the message "hint playing online! download before podcasts can be played offline." That was the last straw. I am looking for a replacement for rssdemon. I will try again in a year or two and hope that those bugs have been worked out. until then, i advise you only use rssdemon if you can stream your podcasts as it works well for that, but is otherwise viewed as useless because of the bugs. 2/5
Positive review Perfect by anonym
The only rss reader wich can stock pictures in hight, good for watch 9gag without connections. Good design, can stock 1000 RSS for offline mode. I use many RSS and it's the best! 5/5
Positive review Great! by anonym
The interface is good. Easy to navigate. I don't know WHY on earth it seems impossible for someone to design an RSS reader without going through Google Reader or some other aggregater first, but thankfully these guys did just that. Plug in your RSS feed address and boom, there you go. No muss, no fuss, no overhead delay in receiving feed updates. The only thing that is keeping me from giving this 5 stars, is the inability to set different update times for different feeds (or at least different categories). I want to check most of my feeds once per hour, but my weather alerts every 10 minutes. Give us that feature and this reader will be PERFECT! Thanks guys! 4/5
Positive review Not Bad by anonym
There are a lot of options. Almost too much to just get in and get the news your looking for. I say try the FREE version. If you like it, go for the Paid version. I am still unsure if I will keep this application. It did work without any issues or problem. LTE GALAXY S3 4/5
Neutral review Functions well, but needs UX improvement by anonym
I've been using this mainly as a podcast player, which it handles fine, but some of the UI is distinctly non-intuitive. For instance, there is no "download now" option (you have to "mark for download" then go up a level and "update"), and the icons showing download status (marked, in progress, downloaded) are extremely cryptic. Similarly, the distinction between "download article" and "download podcast" (on the same entry) makes sense to the developer, but to the user it's just annoying (most podcast RSS entries have no content to download other than the enclosed media stream). Would consider paying for a license if the interface was given a thorough overhaul concentrating on user experience and making commonly used functions clear and easy. 3/5
Positive review Great minimal app by anonym
No unnecessary bells and whistles. Added my 200+ feeds, and I can keep current easily. 4/5
Negative review Pest. by anonym
Unable to stop its constant notifications. No way to set notification interval. No way to filter news subjects, only news sources. To many duplicate articles. 2/5
Positive review Nice rss reader. Better than gReader by anonym
Superior than gReader. This app very stabil and no lag like competitor (gReader). Very fast and efficient memory use on cheap android tablet, mine is ZTE light tab (froyo). 5/5
Positive review Great app by anonym
It works perfectly well on my Droid RAZR The great advantage against competitors is ability to pre-download the RSS feeds data, which males it available offline. The obvious con is that there is no web version of the reader, so all starred feeds are only available on mobile device. 5/5
Positive review Very good by anonym
Feedly seems to be the Reader replacement of choice but I prefer this. It's plainer and has no bells and whistles but it just WORKS. It doesn't forget where you are whenever you switch away and come back, it works happily offline, etc. It's very good and if they gave the UI a polish it would be truly excellent. 4/5
Positive review Nice RSS reader by anonym
RSS Demon is a nice, user-friendly RSS reader that allows you to keep up on your news meanderings in a very organized way. I love yhe widget and the updates are fast. Plus they download the articles to ypur phone in a very low data format so if you lose signal you can still read them. Very handy, I recommend it. 5/5
Positive review Great by anonym
I'm very choosy bout my apps. And this is one of the best. 5/5
Positive review Great Google Reader replacement by anonym
I've checked out all the top rss readers in the market looking for one that is simple but feature-rich. This one wins. Only feature request to make it five stars is for images in the feed to show an option for "show caption". Most of my rss feed comics have a hidden little extra quip in the image title attribute. 4/5
Neutral review Its ok by anonym
Its good, but because it saves files as an undecipherable string of letters it is impossible to keep track of your downloads without using the reader so ill give it a lower ranking. Unless you have 6 or more feeds why use this at all when you could just use internet to download directly in the format you want 3/5
Negative review downloading stuff is a chore. by anonym
its not easy to set this thing to automatically download podcasts. Needs to be easier to use. Would be great to have a status window that showed me how much of the podcast was left to download and allow me to manually driver the download of just the item i want. 2/5
Positive review Very good RSS reader, UI still lives in 2.x Android era by anonym
If you can deal with the UI, this app is great: the best performance of all similar apps for updating/fetching new feed items and pretty low resource usage overall. Unfortunately, the UI still follows Android 2.x style and as a result, looks dated on modern Android 4.x devices. 4/5
Positive review Good app by anonym
Reliable app that covers all the basics really well. It's easy to use and I haven't found any bugs. Could perhaps be a little more slick but still one of the best readers out there. 4/5
Positive review Very very useful by anonym
Easy to use the most important app on my tablet. That is what the developer is asking us to write, and I agree that it is one of the best application I have 5/5
Positive review Good by anonym
Sometimes the ad module crashes and there are occasional lags, but otherwise it's a fine and easy to use app to read the news when you're bored. 5/5
Positive review Easy app by anonym
I must say 6 stars very easy and fast app. It would be more convenient for novices is you put easy learning tab in front with writing learn here. 5/5
Positive review Nicely done by anonym
Well thought out GUI, excellent use of gestures. Great replacement for the Google app. 5/5
Neutral review Doesn't always open the subject you're clicking on? by anonym
Doesn't always open the subject you're clicking on? The heading of the subject says one thing and often clicking on it takes you to some other article. 3/5
Neutral review Mediocre by anonym
I don't know how to connect this thing to Google Reader. It gives me obtrusive alerts every day. The interface does not work well on tablets. And when I came to review it, I found six different versions. And I'm starting to think I downloaded the wrong one. 3/5
Positive review Excellent! by anonym
I tried many readers to replace google reader. This is the best of the lot. Fast and friendly. Easy to follow menu. Definitely recommend it without hesitation. 5/5
Positive review Does everything I want by anonym
Was a little difficult setting up feeds at the start but works very well otherwise 5/5
Positive review Use it every day by anonym
Does what it's supposed to with few if any problems on my tabs & phones. Search for new feeds could be better. I usually need to go looking on the Internet to find feed url then copy/paste it into app manually. Tried others and this is the best one I found. Lots of settings to customise if you wish. 4/5
Positive review Great App by anonym
Easy to operate, very thorough....Quality product for free..... 5/5
Positive review Excellent! by anonym
I've used Feedly since Google announced they were shutting down Reader. However, it seems to take too many resources on my Xperia Sola and it performs slowly after reading a lot of feeds. RssDemon works great and is quite fast, however I do not read exclusively on my phone, I use my desktop and my laptop as well. Feedly keeps my reading in sync between all my devices. I would greatly recommend to add such a feature and also the ability to see animated GIFs in the feed. Other than that, it's a great app and would be a perfect replacement for Feedly, in my case, if it could sync between devices. 4/5
Negative review Don't recommend. by anonym
Installed it on a new phone, great difficulty adding a simple feed from a URL that I had done previously with the same app on a different phone, it wouldn't work. Downloaded another App, entered the same details and it worked instantly. That aside, it has a nice interface and is well designed otherwise 2/5
Positive review Must have by anonym
Quite excellent. If there is a better reader out there I would be surprised! Should probably be 5 stars but seems abandoned. Shame, still better than Feedly! It does hog connection temporarily while updating, a minor thing I can live with. An indispensible app. Kudos dev. Any chance you could resurrect development? 4/5
Neutral review one if the better ones, but not finished by anonym
seems to work better and on a new powerful phone (galaxy nexus) it's fast enough. there are some formatting rest (urls e.g.) left in some feeds - thats unusual. offline reading works better. bying elite? perhaps, but there are hints, that the paid version has a worse layout - i'm unsure and will watch that... 3/5
Positive review by anonym
One of the best tad apps I found. Just purchased pro version. Nice search engine. Drawback: uses to much space, no good way of limiting image cache. 4/5
Positive review Decent by anonym
The only thing egregiously missing is support for animated GIFs. It would also be nice if it supported (or at least indicated the existence of) videos. But otherwise great app. 4/5
Negative review Unstable by anonym
Worked fine for a few weeks, then the app re-downloaded months of podcasts (over 500mb) costing me a stack of cash. Then crashed a couple of weeks later, wiping all my feeds and all data, and does so every few weeks. RSS demon also likes downloading thousands of images where it only needs a couple of thumbnails - the app is garbage - Don't trust it 1/5
Positive review Best Free RSS Feed App by anonym
I've tried a few RSS feed programs on various operating systems through the years and I have found that this app is the best one for its ease of use and versatility. I can save interesting articles for later reading, send hyperlinks or the story itself via email, Facebook, etc. to family and friends and monitor the memory pretty easily. I have this app on both my tablet and my phone. 5/5
Positive review Nice enough? by anonym
I have one feature/function look for/request: the feed preview in the search part. Its not friendly that when i exploring new things :) 5/5
Neutral review Long feed download times by anonym
I've been using this for a week whilst trying to find a Google Reader successor. It's visually pleasing with a few nice features that GR never implemented. However, I find requesting new feeds after a long period can be quite lengthy, whereas GR had them in seconds. I don't have my feeds automatically downloaded throughout the day to save on data limits and battery life. I only check them 3-4 times a day. I will continue using it for now, but I will give a few others a try too. 3/5
Positive review Could be better by anonym
Asus TF300/HCT Evo: Good reader overall. For some reason, pics in some blogs show up fuzzy even if you download the article. Needs a permanent "download article" option for individual feeds so I don't have to manually download new articles. 4/5
Neutral review OK app issue with video by anonym
I like this app but there is an issue with video. They appear as code. I believe the issue is with jquery. Otherwise good app just wish embeded video would work. Then i'll give 5 stars. 3/5
