Its a great idea, but if you really want to learn, study online. Pay extremely close attention when loosing, remember mistakes, from both sides. Practice ONE opening, until you know it front &back. Try to place in a square that guards your next move which enables you to do what you planned. See, this little reading and your already thinking 3to4 moves ahead. 5/5

by anonymThis game is pretty good. The only complaint that I have is that the tutor only advises which piece to move, not where to move it. Or, if he does tell you where to move it, it is not clear enough as I can't see it. Edit: I see it now, but you might want to look into making this feature a bit clearer for new users. 5/5
Good chess app by anonymI have knocked off a star from my last review because I've noticed that sometimes the AI takes stupid moves on purpose just to let you win. I know this probably depends on what difficulty setting it's on, but it could be a little less obvious! Once a single pawn of mine took out 2 pawns, a knight, a bishop, and finally a rook before putting his king in check!! Not exactly a fun way to beat the AI!! 4/5

by anonymA very good Chess game. I think the best features are the undo move button, for people with fat fingers and the review game feature. In some of the Chess pieces, it is difficult to tell the king from the queen. The AI is very good for the first ten moves but then makes blunders about every fifth move 5/5

Every time it feels like I'm playing the same game. This AI has a lot of variety built in so every time I play it's like sitting down with a different opponent, which keeps things much more interesting. 5/5
