Worked great on my S2 when I first got it with ICS. Should add a note that this will not work on S2 with official Jelly Bean upgrade. It actually screws up your EFS, but luckily this has a built in EFS backup function that works. 3/5

After step 1 make sure you make a backup of the 'Galaxy_S_Unlock' folder to your PC so you have an extra backup of your EFS, I almost turned my S2 into a ipod using this. Don't get me wrong it does work, but it has to be done after each time you reboot/power off, the more you do this & mess around with the options the more chances you'll have of corrupting your EFS. EDIT: Use 'GalaxSim Unlock' by Spocky that actually works as intended and the unlock stays even after reboots 1/5

I have the SGSII GSH-T989D (Telus) and I got this software to work. I used the Busybox installer by jrummyy apps. I had to restart a couple of times since I was getting the "Error, not saved" message. But eventually after a few resets and re-installs it worked. cheers :) 5/5

GS2 official AT&T ics. My phone was previously unlocked on a network other than at&t but after ICS 4.0.4 update on Kies I get "Network lock control key". I've never had an AT&T sim because we don't have that company where I live. Is this the reason why it isn't working? I've rooted my phone and I'm currently using Siyah kernel 3.4.2. Phone still asks for "Network lock control key" on start up then "invalid sim" when I hit dismiss. I originally ran this app with my international sim card already in it instead of at&t sim. Then I tried it again with no sim with same results. Any suggestions? Thanks (really hate giving a bad rating :s) 1/5

I've installed busybox and galaxy_s unlock on my galaxy s2, but i'm also getting the file not saved error in step 1 and cannot continue to step 2...a little help 1/5

Great application, it saved my Samsung Galaxy S2 which I had bought "unlocked", but after one year it stopped connecting to the network, requesting a Network Lock Control Key. This application has saved me! My only problem is that if I leave the mobile data on for too long, it suddenly disconnects from the network, and requires restart and repeat of the unlock process. rooted at&t sgs3, step 1 says error, not saved. looking at sdcard I see the galaxy_s_unlock directory was created but it's empty. 1/5

i ve used this but it seems not working..i ve inserted a SIM from another network and still ask for a SIM CODE..i ve put continue and seems not working. galaxy S2 portugal. but 5 stars for the developer work..:) if you could help i would appreciate it. 5/5

OMG, the first time I tried it was without my Tmobile sim card and it didn't work (no signal_) The second time i tried it, I actually put in my Tmobile simcard and it worked! I had to manually reboot after step 2, remember that because that might be the key. I saw on a youtube video where the guy had a 2.2 eclair samsung galaxy and the phone rebooted itself but mine didn't reboot itself, I had to manually reboot. 5/5
