Well, other methods have worked for me, but none consistently. This worked without any special configuration, it is fast, and continues to work on my rooted Droid X running Liquid ICS 2.0 tethering Cricket's 3g. 5/5

Each time the app is opened, it sends a message back to the owners website with my imei number, location and install date. Please explain why you require my location and my imei. And also why I can't disable that being sent. 1/5

I've used this app for years (like 2) and all of a sudden it crashes constantly. I am rooted and I have reinstalled the app many times. Works like a dream. Now I can have Internet wherever I'm at, no need to hunt for a hotspot. Just RTFM really well on how to root your phone. Not a complaint at all. OS is LXLE 12.04.3. SSID shows up in NetworkManager. 5/5

I like the program so far, but it is limited. If you are running Linux Mint 17, it seems to work. There is a problem when trying to encrypt the signal. This causes the program to crash. After it crashes, it is necessary to uninstall and then reinstall the program. Unfortunately, an open connection is a security risk if you are trying to check in on your bank account. With Windows 10, the hotspot shows up but the connection is refused. With android 4.4.2 the hotspot does not show up at all. The interface is simple and easy to use. I was about to send in a donation when I discovered the deficiencies in the program. I will wait until the bugs are fixed. My phone is rooted so I don't know if the program will work without rooting. I hope that development continues. I would like to keep this program. 4/5

SO SAD! Used to work for my PS3...it dectects my tether but times out when connecting to ip address. Same goes with other tether apps. Also used different roms but still no luck. Anyone know a fix??? Rooted Htc Thunderbolt running Das Bamf SoaB 1.4 5/5

The app does not work. Each time it is installed, the app freezes and shuts down without ever functioning. Phone has been restarted, and app has been reinstalled numerous times. If this is repaired and afforded the opportunity to actually use the app without waiting time, I may change the review. But it may work differently on your phone. 1/5
