Team review

" IDE for developing Android apps on Android system. "

The application has not yet detailed description, however the team assigned the note of 9 / 10. This note is based on the following criteria: Quality, Usefulness, Ease of Use, Privacy Concerns of user data (depending on the permissions required)..

The app is compatible with most Android devices running on.

Its weight is very light, less than a megabyte is sufficient to store and operate.

Its number of downloads in the Android Market (Google Play) is quite low. The application is either new, or limited to a specific area that only a few users are interested in.

Positive review Good app by anonym
It helped me pass a quiz. You should make one similar for sql 5/5
Negative review Error by anonym
I keep getting a error message on the lessons and im doing it right 1/5
Negative review Wants you to pay for nearly everything (more than 4 really basic lessons, design editor, etc.) by anonym
I understand needing to make money off of something you spent a lot of time developing, but it shouldn't be near useless without paying for it. Paying for more lessons is a good idea, but making people pay a subscription and to edit in design view isn't. Uninstalling. 2/5
Positive review Good tool for learning basicd by anonym

Neutral review 5 stars, without a doubt, unreservedly (for AIDE & Designer). by anonym
5?'s for apps, 1? for tutorial. When they were released, I immediately purchased the licenses for AIDE and App UI Designer. I give them both 5 stars. Until now, I've been impressed with every appfour app I've used. I've been coding small things here and there, but nothing serious. I finally decided to learn Android programming in earnest. Since appfour has been great so far, I decided to trust them once again with their tutorials. I bought a year's subscription for access to the new lessons as they are released and to help support the developers. I'm very disappointed in the tutorials: They are helpful at first, when the concepts are simple, but not so later; you cannot back up or examine the code after you finish a lesson; they show examples, but offer no explanations. The feeling I get from all this is that they were in a hurry to get subscriptions and released the tutorials before they were ready. If you don't know Java or anything about programming Android, I highly recommend you wait before investing. appfour dropped the ball on this one, but don't get me wrong, I still have faith they will make the tutorial worthwhile, eventually (I just hope it's sooner rather than later). 3/5
Positive review Excellent buy... by anonym
I love the functionality. The built in tutorials (ongoing with paid subscription) are an awesome feature. The UI is flawless except for a bug that keeps preventing my keybaord from showing back up after it disappears from disuse. I have to intentionally highlight code and delete it, then click on the editing space to re-init the keyboard. HIGHLY annoying. This needs to be fixed immediately. Also, the system for adding in libraries need to be easier. Other than that, this app is well worth the money I spent. 5/5
Neutral review I PAID FOR FULL APP NOW TUTORIALS WONT RUN WITHOUT SUBSCRIPTION??? by anonym
**Sigh** Still seems good I guess, I just cant use it until I can afford the tutorials.... 3/5
Negative review by anonym
You have to pay to get anything other than the first two lessons. this is a huge ripoff. There are better programming lessons online for free. 1/5
Negative review by anonym
I like that it explains programming android but it is a huge ripoff because you must pay to unlock all of the lesson and I really don't feel like paying for that. 2/5
Negative review Disappointed by anonym
I wish I could save project for free... and there are many java libraries aren't found 1/5
Positive review by anonym
Great App 5/5
Negative review All features not by anonym
Misleading all features are not unlocked. Seen new projects in list. Pay subscription to unlock then be asked to subscribe again for HTML and pay full phonegap. With all errors in tutorials paying 2-3 scripts not worth it. 2/5
Positive review Powerfull compiler by anonym
Good compile works perfect om my tell 5/5
Neutral review More settings by anonym
It's nice to see a good tutorial app, but it would be better with ability to set your main screen to workspace or project list. 3/5
Positive review Nice editor by anonym
Is looking really good. Haven't looked at the tutorial yet. 5/5
Positive review Great app and tutorial by anonym
The app and the tutorial are great! The tutorial runs you through the steps of how to create an Android app from scratch. It goes through how to edit the different objects that you can add to your application and how to edit them via Java or XML. However, there is one complaint. It seems to not be able to properly open files. I consistently get a nullpointerexception even when i use the full path of the file. 4/5
Positive review It still the best by anonym
Nice appfour you are still the pioneer in putting almost all the feature of a desktop computer into android devices. Bacause of your apps, you can now create not only android apps but also a website thanks for AIDE for Web. Now, you can easily publish your apps made on this app into the website made using the app which is made by the developer of this app. It means this is the sister app of the app where you can make your own appstore where you can sell your own apps made on this app. It so amazing. AIDE fanatics try the web development version and you may love it too. Also by using the web development version of this app you can now also create a universal app which you only need is to create a webbrowser app i n order to be installed in the device of your choice. I love all of your apps. There is no imposible beacuse of your apps. 5/5
Negative review Decent app, horrible tutorial by anonym
The editor and compiler work Ok as far as I can tell, the tutorials are terrible! When you make a simple typo in your code and do not notice it you are stuck with no way out! There is no hints button, where the error is is usually not where the compiler thinks it is. (I do understand that this is how all compilers show errors but as a student it doesn't work for you) . The emphasis is on what to type in but not the why. I feel I totally wasted a year of training money, I should have spent the money for the editor and UI designer and used other course material. Especially the topic "view IDs" is entirely unclear, I finished the lesson successfully but have no idea why one would program something this way (and I do have programing experience in other languages). The part where it tells you what to do for a lesson scrolls off the screen as soon as you start typing code so it is irritating as hell if you don't have a perfect memory for the code. This course is an exercise in patience. 1/5
