It takes ages to load/refresh anything. Sometimes I feel it is accessing the internet through my slow gprs plan rather than my fast broadband wi-fi. And I'm talking about simple text, notifications and messages. :-( 2/5

I LOATHE the Facebook app on my S3 because no matter what I do it defaults to a version from before the newsfeed split. Which happened a couple years ago. I checked out reviews on Android forums and settled on Friendcaster. With what I do on my phone it's perfect. The not being able to post something directly to a friend's wall is a minor issue. I'm new to the app today, and my only issue is the contacts sync times out and fails. The most it's gotten to is 100 out of 285. And there's no rhyme or reason for which friends it's synced. I'm on Jelly Bean. I keep seeing stuff online about sync having issues with Jelly Bean, and this needs to be fixed. If the sync worked I could give it four or five stars. Syncing contacts is the only reason I kept the Facebook app as long as I did. UPDATE 3/31/14: I left it alone overnight, and the rest of my contacts finally synced. Whoo! Definitely a fan of this app. 4/5

Downloaded it. After it says "Installing Friendcaster", it says I have insufficient storage. The heck? I have 1.27 GB of free storage on my internal memory. Other apps got installed. Only this didn't.-.- 1/5

All issues fixed! The app is awesome again...thanks to the awesome support staff who answered all my questions. Customer service alone gets 5 stars. I'm obsessed with Friendcaster lol 5/5

After months of using the bloated, slow, battery - hogging, eye sore of an app, friendcaster has been refreshing. It so simple and fast, this is what the official should have been. Instead it's a bloated mess that we have today 5/5

Functionally this is a good application, but the adverts telling me that my phone has 27 viruses are woeful. Very bad and misleading scare mongering. 2/5

Great replacement but too many quirks and problems. Half of my posts are disappearing and not posting with some error. Tired of writing a long post to have it gone forever. 3/5

When I open it I see a blue screen which sits there for ages , so I press the back button , which has the dual effect of showing the main page , followed 2 seconds later by the app closing. 10 seconds was enough for me to see this ìs sluggish and just not up to the job. Uninstalling. 1/5

Pls incorporate the "mention" ( using @) feature as it is in the official FACEBOOK app. Right now, the @ thing is not working. Cant tag friends in a comment or post. This is critical. I would gladly give u 5 stars if you do the above :-) 3/5

Works pretty well & on an older Samsung. 2 things I wish it did: 1-I want to see friend requests in app, I don't want to go to the website. Ideally be able to accept/reject requests but I'd be happy just being able to see who. 2-I want it to actually notify me when I get a message, I have that option checked but it never seems to happen. 4/5

After years of use I have to uninstall. All I get is "Unable to like this Facebook object" and it fails to upload photos to my albums. Get it sorted. 1/5

Says it can't find albums when I try to upload pics to any of my Facebook albums. This was one of the main things I used this app for. Used to be a great app, now broken. 1 star rating and uninstalling now till fixed. 1/5

I like friendcaster and all it offers. Unfortunately I don't see full news feeds or status updates like I hoped (i know this is a limitation set by Facebook) so overall I enjoy using friendcaster over Facebook just wish there wasn't so blocks from Facebook so I can enjoy this app fully 5/5

Phone was fully charged. Logged into the application then closed it. An hour later, battery dead because of Friendcaster. The process within Friendcaster running in the background draining the battery is uk.senab.notifyfree. 1/5

News feed not loading! Yesterday news feed got stuck for most of the day and this morning getting message that news feed is unable to load, what? Would like an update why please. However, disappointed that the news feed I get on my laptop doesn't match with friendcaster. I'm going to have to look for a replacement app, just feel like I'm missing to match important news. 1/5

It's a great app and everything worked fine for awhile but now having problems uploading photos to any specific album. Please fix :) Oh AND I would luv to be able to fix and crop my cover photo. Thank you 3/5

It is really pretty and does the job, but it's sooooo slow to the point I get bored of looking at the screen. And I was using a 20mb link to load posts... 3/5

Pretty neat because its not just fast its a complete package as well. It can -Down Load- long videos with a length 8minutes 5/5

I just installed FC on both devices and neither one can get Notifications! I get a SQL Database Error... 2/5
