Another useless app by anonymApp doesn't scan. The developers' rude responses to bad reviews don't solve anything, and make them look stupid. They can't handle criticism, so they use juvenile sarcasm to help them cope with their insecurities. DO NOT download this or any other crap they make. These cowards wouldn't dare talk like that to us if we were face to face. Stop blaming our devices and own up to your mistakes. Maybe you developers should develope brains, or get jobs doing something else 1/5
Great app. I've never had any issues. by anonymFernando Sobrenome is a moron. There is no need to rate such a useful app one star because of some stupid preference. Turning your device sideways is the most logical thing to do, and anyone that would complain about that is childish. Some people will complain about anything. Even if it's free... Ad pops up before it has time to scan... by anonymScanning a specific barcode is how I deactivate my alarm in the mornings, this has been a huge inconvenience, and unfortunately, my alarm app exclusively uses this barcode app for this function. Lately, ads pop up so fast that it doesn't have time to properly recognize the barcode, so the alarm keeps going off, which is infuriating. The developers of this app apparently don't care, as there is absolutely no way to report problems other than this. Worst app ever. 1/5
Works by anonymI wish I could respond to my customers the way this developer does! All the simpletons complaining saying the app sucks. If you have a legitimate complaint then state what it is and ask for help. It seems doing that takes too much brain power for many! Instead you say it sucks and u hate it and talk about switching to other apps. What kind of response do you think u deserve with that kind of approach? The app is free. If you're that upset over it get a life and find something that makes you happy! Lol 4/5
Garbage by anonymEvery single time I want to use this app it tells me that the camera encountered a problem. This, despite a fact that the camera works just fine for other scanners & for taking pictures. Really tired of this app - uninstalling. 1/5
A solid barcode scanner by anonymThis app does a very admirable job of scanning QR codes which is my primary usage scenario. It stores the codes its great. The one flaw is that is lives in landscape mode. For no reason that i can discern the HUD is always landscape. That said holding the phone portrait does not appear to affect its ability to scan. 4/5

Works as advertised by anonymThis only scans bar codes and QR codes and that's it, it does not do product searches, not even popular ones, and it does not make your camera do impossible tricks. It does provide an API for other apps to use and therefore got blamed for being 'broken'. Loving the one star reviews ;) 5/5

Doesn't scan if mobile have fixed focus camera by anonymI didn't noticed anything scanned till now. I think its because my phone has fixed focus camera.. It can't focus nearer objects so app will fail to scan 2/5
No instructions on using it by anonymHow long are you supposed to hold your phone over the barcode for it to work. How do you know if it's worked? How long is a scan supposed to take? I held my phone over it as steady as I could for over five minutes, and not sure if anything happened at all. 2/5

Cannot work with large barcodes. by anonymWorks well with small codes. But, It seems, it always focuses in macro mode, so, when I close up camera, code does not fit into view (and isn't recognized), and when I try to scan from afar, picture is blurred, thus code isn't recognized. For fraction of second, when it tries to re-focus, it seems to have sharp picture, but apparently this isn't enough time for the program to read code. For comparison, Google Googles app work well with codes of any size (but requires internet). 3/5
by anonymI have a galaxy s4 and I've had this app on my previous two phones as well. This barcode scanner has probably only worked about twice. Maybe three times. It goes so slow that I usually give up. 1/5
Comes in handy by anonymWhen I'm shopping this app is great because I don't have to search all over the store for a scanner when I can't find the price. It tells me popular stores like Walmart and Targets price but it does have some bugs, the major one is sometimes it has incorrect info about the product like it's name/picture but it doesn't happen often. Need a way to report incorrections Please! 4/5

Should auto focus out of box. by anonymI use this for work to scan checkpoints, on a galaxy note 2. Have to go into settings and change a few things for auto focus to actually work. 2/5

Works! by anonymPeople who give this one star just don't know how to phone. In low light its sometimes tricky to get the scanner to snag the bar code, go find some light. Any time I've used this app, it has worked just dandy. 5/5
Horrible.. by anonymIt'll scan but I just have to wait and hold it very still.And that just gives me anxiety..It only picked up a few things.. Some other things it won't or takes forever and I just can't wait. Especially if I'm at a store and need a price quick..Sorry but uninstalled it.? 1/5
It takes too long by anonymI have to have my phone completely still for it to be able to read a barcode and it just sits there and keeps trying to scan it I can type it in and go to the web page faster than this thing can read a barcode deleting now there's better ones out there 1/5
Works great! by anonymDon't use it often, but works perfectly when I do. Also tried with instawifi app which created a qr code for guests to configure their phone with my WiFi just by scanning, and it was awesome. This app just scans barcode that instawifi app creates and instantly let people connect to my WiFi at home. 5/5

Doesn't capture various barcodes by anonymTried on various products. Success rate was nearly 20%. Database shoukd be expanded to include various household products. It was not even able to capture code of "Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin". 2/5
How to work this app by anonymThis app uses your device's camera, meaning that if it is taking too long to scan, your camera is probably not in focus. This app can only see through your camera but not adjust its settings so if your scan is really slow or not working, open up your camera, put it at the same proximity as you would scan, tap the center of the screen, and that will focus your camera. Then re-open the scanner and scan away. 4/5
Gets the job done by anonymScans the code correctly. Just need to put the red line across the bar code and keep it there untill it bleeps. I suspect the people that state that it doesn't work were trying to make a scanning motion like in the supermarket. ? 4/5
