Works well on Android at a very reasonable price. 5/5
Positive review Very good aviation app. by anonym
Have used it once while flying and was impressed with the features and usability. 4/5
Positive review Really Good by anonym
Couple minor bugs with display glitches on my tablet. The only major problem I have is when updating terminal procedures, it takes forever and many times does not finish. I then have to go to each state I have saved and re-download the current procedures. As imagined, that procedure is a real pain... 4/5

We have been using this app for about 6 months and love it. We have used it in our Bonanza Debonair along side with an onboard Garmin 430 and an I-fly. The Naviator is on my Nexus 7 tablet and is right on with the other two. I had some problems getting the app to work on my new phone, but a quick e-mail response from Mike in support and all is great 5/5
Positive review Fine program by anonym
Tends to be finicky for map & d-tpp downloading and force closing when working with the map viewd 4/5
Positive review Fix the radar and its a 5 by anonym
I use Naviator on a Galaxy S4 now and I love it. I fly a traffic plane around St Louis for radio and TV, so I use the basemap. It allows me to go direct to an accident scene. The weather radar I feel needs a lot of work. Its not accurate and the block shapes are terrible. 4/5
Positive review Great app. I use it every week. I have the geo-referenced charts and airport diagrams. Works as good as my friends' foreflight and wingXpro...but for much less $$$. Android has now surpassed ios apps in ability and at an amazing price point. You knew it was going to happen sooner or later. by anonym

Neutral review Good basic program by anonym
I used this software on a long round trip recently. Good basic functions. So-called hi-res terrain is not good, in fact the base map is better, at least it is so on my Galaxy Note 8. Also every time I load the high res map and sometime sectionals, the program blanks out and returns to the home page. Once restarted the map usually shows, but on the high res map if you move past the initial load all you see is empty pixels. I do not yet have an ads-b receiver so I was not able to test that feature. 3/5

Positive review Good app by anonym
I have tried several aviation moving map apps for Android and this one is a good one. Additionally the developer constantly adds features and makes improvements. 4/5
Positive review Good Piece of Gear by anonym
I fly both VFR and IFR with this app using my Note 2 and have had no problems. There were bugs at times but nothing that was not fixed in due time. This is worth the subscription. Good work and thank you. 5/5

Good app GPS altlitude can be +- 200', so I really like having a barometric altimeter. I've checked it the against A/C altimeter and it's spot on. Also useful for doing TAS calcs. 5/5
Positive review Great android flying companion. by anonym
Fixed! Now interfaces to FSX (flight simulator 10) and Lockheed Martins Prepared 3D version 2.0 for training purposes. simconnect allowing the app to accept GPS position from Sim in realtime to be used in the app is flawless. 4/5
Negative review BullShit app by anonym
Locks up, doesn't perform as advertised AND no way to get a refund. Thi app is a SCAM! Shame on Flight Aware for allowing them to post articles. TOTAL RIP OFF! No link to support. 1/5

Positive review Fantastic flight planner / moving map gps by anonym
Works outstanding for pre flight planning and en route awareness. Changes to your plans are easily accomplished, even while flying. Love the quick plan mode, rubber band route change feature, and altitude optimizer for wind aloft. This app works great on my Samsung tablet! 5/5

Positive review Very useful, but... by anonym
I've purchased the application recently for an Samsung Note 3 Android's device and it seems to work ok, but the application exits suddenly when zooming the map un the map view, in spite of having full wifi and gps connection. Is this an issue of my phone or is a bug from the Naviator system? 4/5
Neutral review Love it...but... by anonym
I have been using this app for over a year now. Overall it is good but most recently I had to reinstall everything. The IFR enroute charts are not installed even though all are checked in the "Select Data" menu. Also, the plane icon disappears when/if the app switches from enroute to airport view. It also would be nice to have the airplane icon would appear on the IAP, STAR's and SID's cannot be planned as such(requires manual input of the corresponding waypoints). For the price it is a good buy! 3/5

Positive review Magic by anonym
Just keeps getting better. I use it on a note 3. 5/5
Negative review Very Good, but... by anonym
1. Dealbreaker: Terrain obstacle voice can't be disabled (even post 3.1.3). Minor Stuff: 2. Runway extension labels stay full-size during zoom out, 3. Would be nice to have SID / STAR wpt sequencing when procedure title added to flight plan. 1/5
Positive review Keep coming back to it by anonym
This app is not the sexiest but it does work as advertised and does work very well in the Cockpit I use it as a backup to the Ipad but have had to use it in anger when the IPAD has shutdown for whatever reason, It is immediately usable and more important the user interface lends itself to use in flight and has obviously been tested as such. I have used it in a training environment for VFR and IFR flight and is everything you need to meet the requirements for having charts in in the cockpit. In fact I would say that it is superior than paper in as much as you keep the flight deck tidy at all times. I do like being able to read the edges of TAC's and see the notes on routing etc. 5/5
Positive review Great aviation app, but is a battery hog by anonym
This app is well worth the subscription fee and I use it daily. I love the new Material Design UI that pushed in the latest version. The app is more stable and responsive than it has been in previous versions, and is a great tool for situation awareness. I have two gripes with it. First is it is a BATTERY HOG. It is tough to get around the amount of battery this app uses due to it keeping the screen on constantly as well is continually using GPS; however, if you plan to use it for an entire day, you should have a backup battery or some other alternate power source handy. I get about 3.5-4 hours of use with this app on my Nexus 7 (2013). My other gripe is with the charts. You must individually select the chart to use for a given area, it does not have a "world" chart option like Skyvector has. This is not a show stopper, but can be annoying if you're not sure immediately what chart you are currently on. Overall I still think this is the best flight app on Android, so keep up the good work! 4/5
Positive review Works great! by anonym
My garmin failed to lock on to satellites the other weekend so I pulled out my phone with Naviator and it worked like a charm! Well worth the cost to have as a backup or load onto a tablet to run in the cockpit. Highly recommend. 5/5
Neutral review Minor gripes by anonym
Developers are constantly improving this app. However, the latest change made the No GPS warning flag too large. It should be able to be hidden after being acknowledged to allow flight planning without a GPS signal. 3/5
Positive review Latest version seems to continue to run in background on Samsung 5S. by anonym
I would like to see Google+ posts of my hanger show the flight picture. Not just text. Also, launch MyHangar from "upload completed" message please. 5/5
Positive review Brian Bell by anonym
I live in an area where I use three sectional maps regularly. For an annual cost of $35 Navigator is well worth the cost. I don't fly into towered airports, so I really don't need the airport diagram upgrade. This is my third year using the app and it is very user friendly. For an LSA aircraft that flies about 130mph, Navigator on my Nexus 7 works well. 5/5
Positive review Awsome app by anonym
I use it all the time. IFR and VFR 5/5
Neutral review High cost, Pay 3x by anonym
Price point is set way to high. Have to pay to unlock and pay to get geo reference and pay to see faa charts after paying to unlock app. Good c/s. Better interface than prior. 3/5
Positive review Easily the most advanced Android aviation app by anonym
Synthetic vision and primary flight display are available whereas the competition says they support it but are nowhere near releasing it for Android. Sure they can show you screen grabs of their iOS offering but that is insulting. If you have a ADSB+AHRS+GPS unit then you are flying in style! With a split screen you can have a moving map and 3D synthetic vision. Be sure to pair your Bluetooth audio as the bitching Betty announces not only terrain and obstacles but traffic, telling you where to look by clock references. Change your default Android voice to a sweet, high quality British nanny and you have the ultimate flying companion! 4/5
Positive review 121 Op by anonym
Using the program and an ADS-B receiver with geo referencing. Great situational awareness in an older aircraft. Would love to have the charts sequence as the aircraft moves along its route of travel 4/5
Positive review Flying in Malaysia by anonym
Ok, the maps aren't that great in Malaysia but there are maps and they work. That's more than you can say about most other apps out there. Naviator is a keeper. 5/5
