I would recommend this app however i have the paid version on my tablet and it refuses to recognise this on my phone it tried to make me pay again please tell me how i can sort this out handy scanner thank you. I look at other competitors and developers answer within days. This had been two weeks now and nothing. I have paid the product and just don't want to pay again. Please help 4/5

The end result is NOT a .pdf file but an instead an image saved as .pdf which is pretty lame. And, don't be fooled by the language.. the description says save as .pdf or .jpeg and YES I know the difference. Other than that it does have an easy to use user interface (UI) and stitches the images together which is nice for multiple page letters, contracts, etc... which is the only reason I gave 2 stars. Come up with a true, editable, .pdf scanner and you'll get 5 stars across the board! 2/5

Easy to use, emailed it to my inbox quickly, pictures were really nice. Unfortunately the text was totally unreadable. Tried 3 times but no difference. Uninstalling it. 1/5

I've tested loads of similar apps. This one seems the best I've come across so far. Lots of print options. I love how it can transform your document scans into a traditional photocopy. Very legible and great for printing. 5/5

Scanned first documents - was easy and it looked great, but evey time I tried to email it to myself, the email arrived without the pdf attached. Not going to waste any more time on this one. 1/5

I wanted to like this app, but CamScanner sets the benchmark. This app has poor autocrop, but good manual crop selection. It does not have comparable post-processing image improvement, which is the most important thing. 3/5

As with a lot of apps, once they go through updates, everything we love about the app ceases to exist and the app looses functionality or gains limitations. In Camera mode after taking 4 snaps it NOW displays, an UPGRADE to pro pop-up. If you cancel it, it destroys any images you snapped. In Picture mode, it loads in a pic, processes it but only saves it as a JPG file and NOT a PDF like it used to. What makes it somewhat useful is it still auto detects corners, corrects perspective, and enhances images for fax, colour print or b/w printing. Even as a JPG file and not a PDF. No biggy really. I save the image to HDD and drag it into Chrome to print to PDF. (8 megapixel camera set at max resolution) 3/5

I was able to scan a picture into a PDF and then export it to Google drive. I also use it for scanning my travel receipts. It is free and it works nuff said. 4/5

You spend time installing and scanning files, and in the end you can do nothing with them. Sharing through any mean fails consistently with random files about every other one. Useless and supremely annoying. 1/5

I work away from office kst of the time so needed a fast way to get Info back to bookkeeper. Just downloaded and put it to work. Awesome!! So far no problems. Will give five star if no problems after I have used more. Tuanks for great app! 4/5

The icon on my screen keeps taking me to efax.com install which I find absolutely intrusive and annoying. I have no recourse to get rid of this bullish of an app but to simply delete. Garbage! 1/5

Works great with images snapped by Camera app, but it can't seem to use the camera from within the app itself. Won't focus & aspect ratio is wrong. Otherwise excellent 4/5

Ads and rating nags and "go pro" ads and watermarks and also limits on the number of pages? Limited, free versions are fine, but when they are so crippled as to be useless, and so intrusive to use, the dev had already lost any chance for me to buy the pro version. 2/5

I downloaded this app seeing its popularity on my MI3.. the UI is quite intuitive and the functioning is quick However, the scanned documents were blurred I first checked if there was some problem with the camera...however, it clicked perfect pictures otherwise... So I realized that the scanner app itself was making the pictures blurred, to force users to buy the app...what a waste of time!! 1/5

Completely unethical outfit. Know in advance that you will lose 4 out of 5 images that you think you're capturing with this supremely unreliable app. Handy Scanner lists itself as a free app on Android Market only to stop taking pics, demand payment, then lose the images that it indicated it captured. If Halfmobile wants to charge for its app, it should say so instead of baiting & switching with its shoddy gimmick that fails users who Halfmobile lead to believe was free. Fail. Go elsewhere, never to Halfmob 1/5

Quality of image could be better. Regular photo is too dark, but print ready setting can be too contrasty, making a subtle shadow on page appear black. But overall, a convenient & useful app. I tried a couple others & this was the best out there. 4/5

A few people have complained about the free version in that you're only able to save 3 documents and that's it. I just email them to my email address and delete the documents off of my tablet. This thing works great and replaces the cost of purchasing a pdf creator which happens to cost a lot more than well.. free! Docs seem to come out clear and just as good as the scanner in our office. No complaints here. Then again, I'd have a hard time complaining about any thing that is free. 4/5

A very useful app, perfect for scanning documents and all other bits and pieces. I find this app incredibly easy and useful, and despite there being a daily cap of 'scans', I have not found myself in a situation of wanting more. Ideal for regular, casual use from experience. 5/5

Scans come out fuzzy, when using flash or non-flash for letter paper-size scans. Can only get "Medium" resolution with free version, can't test whether paid version (high high resolution) is any better. I'm looking further. 2/5

I'm happy with this app because is very easy to use and now has a good improvement. The only thing I'd like to have more clear is how to switch from multiscan (more than a 1 sheet) to one to one sheet. 4/5

Initially after seeing the reviews I decided to download this app but it does nothing new other than an interface to crop your image and color optimisation (which I didn't like) so there is still a lot of space for improvement 3/5

1. You should add a "get our pro version" button somewhere. You'll lose customers without it. 2. You may want to replace your corner detection with side/line detection. Corners are usually more crumbled, while the page sides are (in my experience) more accurately detectible. Going pro version now! 5/5
