Needs an auto shut down feature when removed from power source. And, it needs the ability to cap how much room it uses on my device, and auto cycling through, deleting the oldest to save the newest. Also, the ability to set it to auto upload to YouTube or another server would be nice. 3/5

What it does is great, but needs to integrate with tasked, or at least auto start / stop 3/5

1. Try to turn off the Map View (and/or Translucent Map, Map Rotation options) while video recording; this would reduces many problems because Map View uses data connection and good amount of computer power. And after recording, when playing the recorded videos user could add Map View back to the player to see the GPS location information. 2. Try to turn off WiFi and/or Mobile Data connection during the video recording. 3. Without any internet data connection, the GPS data and video/photo recording would work without any problems; only Map View is using the internet data and required. To turning off the Map View will help more time/power to the video/photo/gps recording processing, so less errors... ^^; 4. Try to use small preview (safe mode) option while recording... ^^; 5/5

Fantastic app following a VERY close near miss thought I want a dash cam and found this app. Works brilliantly as the free app BUT paid for crashes every time you try to open settings. Oh well free version it is for now then. Once it's sorted will upgrade. 3/5

For some reason on my Galaxy S3 the video screen randomly splits in two and reverses the top and bottom portions. I thought maybe it was just on the view screen but nope, it actually recorded it that way. It sometimes self corrects after the 5 minute split. It would be nice to specify the split length of the videos. Also, half the people who reviewed this app are morons that can't follow simple instructions. 3/5

Works great for photos but yields corrupted videos on Samsung S3. To save on my SD card put '/mnt/extSdCard/dashboardcam' as the custom record folder. I am switching to AutoGuard Blackbox Dash Cam app. 3/5

It needs to keep recording with the screen off. My S3 gets about 40 minutes of record time, which could be extended if I could turn off the screen. Recently began frame slippage and rotation. So the image displays and records with the frame rotating like a merry-go-round. 4/5

First, I gave this app one star, because it used to crash on all of my three phones. Then the developer wrote me and asked me to turn on the GPS and the app will not crash, anymore. He was right; once I turned on the GPS, the app works fine. Still, I cannot give if five stars, because sometimes I don't want to use the GPS. The GPS markings in my footages have no relevance to me, so I would appreciate if I would have the chance of working with this software without turning on the GPS receiver. Until then, I'll give it four stars, with all my heart. 4/5

Since changing phone to Z2 this app has major problems for me. Main one being loss of picture quality. Very pixalated and out of focus. Sad as I used this app a lot. 3/5

The free version has way too many ads! The hud elements available such as the speedometer were great. Would have liked more customization of the speedometer. A smaller size matching the date/time stamp would have been perfect. It wouldn't recognize a 64gb class 10 card I had installed but worked fine with a 16gb class 2 card. 2/5
