I installed Navmii GPS USA plus the state maps for my surrounding area. When I search for an exact street address, several suggestions from Foursquare are shown that are no where near the address to which I want to navigate and I won't route to where I want to go. 1/5

It's free and it works so you can't really complain much. But i would only use it as a temporary solution. Indications and navigation are not very good compared to e.g. tomtom. I get lost frequently while using this app. In some occasions it's even dangerous, this app wanted me to do a u-turn in the middle of the highway... 2/5

I recommend this app a lot with the caveat that "it's fidgety and you'll fight with it". I paid for extras and now I regret it. Obvious things are broken like: no pinch zoom (what app doesn't use pinch to zoom?!) and "live POI search requires data connection" (when it's got Wi-Fi AND 4g signal!). No option to update all maps at once (got 50 state maps? You'll need 50 updates!) These make it hard to recommend. UPDATE: Still no pinch zoom. Paid features keep disappearing. When it works, it's great. It's saved my butt a couple times. But the problems it suffers continue to go unaddressed. 3/5

Got my family through the UK and we're now going to use it for a California trip. 5/5

Yeah its kinda slow and p.o.i are weak but its free and works offline...love the auto dim etc and also the speed warnings/limit very nicely layed out, thanks!!! 4/5

Why change something working so well into something that doesn't work???? Whyyy??? Edit - reinstalling works, but still need to redownload all maps. A small hassle well worth my time as the app itself is freaking awesome . thanks also to the timely response of the devs! 5/5

Uninstalled, reinstalled app. Downloaded maps, but it can not find any addresses whatsoever. It can find a street, so maybe about 90% useless. The older version could find addresses. *edit* Thanks for the quick response! I tried this yesterday, and late yesterday evening and I couldn't find anything. Now, it seems to be working. Not sure why, but changing review from 1 to 4 stars. 4/5

Frequently crashes when started. Reluctant to completely uninstall before reinstall because there's no way to export/import Favorites, and last time I did this they were lost. Took literally hours to recreate them. New version shows the destinations on the map view, but cannot route automobile to one major community hospital when complex has private roads. STREET ADDRESS DOES WORK, BUT ISN'T USED BY APP. Walking route mapped to same location works. Another location, Google server errors when voice or text search for "good shepherd hospital barington illinois" when same searches on Chrome work. These searches worked on previous releases. Media player access is nicer, but I'd rather have a dependable nav app durin an out of town emergency.This isn't a tech support issue, but a developer issue to be adddesssed. 2/5

Finding locations is easy with data or wifi. But offline, some locations can be hard to search for even with an exact street address. The recent updates fix the stability issues and made it cleaner and more user friendly. 4/5

This used to be nice. Then it was updated, and it became unstable ( spontaneous reboots ). Now with this most recent update I get : "Error Package file is invalid" I did try support's suggestion, without success. I emailed them like they asked, but no response yet. 1/5

The app looks great very modern. That said, on my note 4 it constantly crashes when connected to either wifi or my data carrier. It seem that the ad system is causing it to crash. While using it in airplane mode i have no complains and it does seem to be more stable than it predecessor NavFree. 5/5

Reducing rating from 5 star to 2. This app is highly unreliable. First, it gave me wrong address. Second,app becomes unresponsive in between journey.You will be on verge to take a turn when app just stops. It recovers after a minute or two by when you are far off your route if there is no place to pull over. Please fix this issue. 2/5

Nice when it works but after working last week when I downloaded a bunch of maps it is now broken now that I actually need it. Have noticed instability in the past too. Not worth the risk 1/5

They removed the ability to choose where the maps are downloaded to, -1 star. Routing has become a mess. I can't route from where I stand at work due to unmarked roads that encompass the venue (no name) yet the building itself is listed. Also, I cannot make my own travel route via adding where I will be in the future and where I will travel to. -1 star. Finally, I cannot select multiple maps to download at a time or download the entirety of the USA in one large download. Inconvenient for travelling. -1 star 2/5

The older Navfree worked great on my device for a long time. Now the new upgrade is absolutely useless. It's horribly slow, locks up the device quite often, and doesn't even resemble the older device. MANY of the good features are gone. There isn't even a smooth way of entering a destination or even browsing the map to find destinations. You would think there would be some sort of manual on their website, but nope..... you're on your own. Well, looks like you just lost a good customer! If there was a way to install the old version, let me know. You destroyed a perfectly good app!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1/5

Update: A lot of things have changed since I wrote my first review. The software has really improved in that time, and the routes are much better now. However, lately I have been unable to get the search functions to return any useful results at all. So unless I know the exact address of the destination I'm going to I'm stuck. Hopefully this is just a server glitch or something. Aside from that this is definitely the best free navigation solution now. 4/5

The update from Navfree to Navmii has apparently gotten so bloated that it is incredibly slow and constantly crashes on my ZTE Valet, where it used to work fine. 1/5

The most user friendly offline GPS app. Still not as good as Google maps but as an offline app it is good. It says 12 months free maps update. So I am not sure if I use it after the one year update trial. So 4 stars. 4/5

So, I've been using this for a couple days now. I've downloaded the maps, but it refuses to tell me my location. Only shows up the first location I installed the app at. Does it need wifi to tell initial location? Or why else does it not work? 2/5

[WHAT I LIKE]Offline navigation is great.it recalculate route fast.if you have wifi on, it can grab all POI from foursquare,google etc and include them in your search, therefore no worries of finding any POI if you have wifi on.[WHAT I WISH]Map view stay 2D after i select my choice,instead of reselect everytime navi.There's slight lagging on offline navi that i overshoot my turning sometimes.However this can be either caused by insufficient gps signal,or hp performance issue sometimes instead of app issue. 4/5
