I used to love this app but now even when I tell it to quit it still runs in the background, so my battery drains. Uninstalling until they can make it quit correctly. 1/5

Samsung says this is ready for Gear S, but I don't see how to move this app to my Gear Device Manager. Any help? UPDATE: I will follow the steps you've outlined and see how that works for me. I can't get this app to connect. Keep saying error communicating with network. I have Uninstaller the app and rebooted my phone as was suggested to the last person that left a review. I am still unable to get this app to work for me. 1/5

Items on map are pretty accurate. I use it when ever I'm about to go out. Would be nice if you would allow photo uploads of traffic scenes. But I know I should be driving and not taking pictures but I shouldn't be trying to use this app while driving either! 4/5

I live in Buxton, Derbyshire and the app says the weather is mild and no traffic disruptions. Well outside its been snowing for 3 hours with several inches on the ground the temperature is below freezing and virtually every main road is impassable. I could understand if it was only half an hour after the conditions changed, but 3 hours later and still so wrong? Apart from that the temperature here has hovered around freezing or just above all day so where it gets mild from? 1/5

Inrix is one of three apps that I use regularly. The traffic data seems to be top-notch and the UI mostly works well. The map is a classic 2D map provided by Google and is easy to read. I routinely also use Waze, and GMaps 6.x. My preference is GMaps based on the UI, but their data data often seems to be stale. Waze has data which I would consider equivalent to Inrix, but their interface is considerably less intuitive and very hard to use while driving. There are a few things that could use tweaking in Inrix, however: -Location indicator - Should be located further to the bottom of the map instead of the center. I have no need of traffic information from where I have been. -Auto-Zoom function - This feature is sorely lacking here and accurate zooming manually while driving is very difficult if not dangerous. Most others auto-zoom based on road type/speed. -Traffic data overload - The farther out zoom levels filter out much of the surrounding roads' traffic data but it is still often overwhelming. Certain close-zoom levels on slow highways causes information overload and it suddenly becomes impossible to tell which road is a freeway and which is a side-street. 3/5

It used to be a great app. Lately, it list all traffic incidents as "congestion." Other apps still do, and nowadays, do a better job. It had consistently failed to list accidents while the other apps have them. As for the SMS permission, that's understandable. I'm pretty sure it's to send traffic notifications. I just can't see it recognizing any. I'm far more concerned about the permission to read my contacts list. I don't know how I missed it before, but THAT is the reason for removing the app. 2/5

It doesn't quit when you choose quit. Other apps quit so it can't be android op system. Even if I went in and forced it to quit elsewhere, it was showing as running within a few seconds. Since it doesn't have voice navigation that I could find, I have to run 2 apps. My phone was on the charger and the battery was still dead after an hour and a half. Glad I didn't end up lost in a terrible part of town. 2/5

In the UK very good coverage. Jam coverage seems to cover slightly fewer roads than TomTom but details of closures are more reliable.Incident reports and road closures usually accurate and up to date. Snow related closures on Derbyshire have been absolutely spot-on recently. 4/5

Once you turn on location services you have to zoom in on the map then the camera icons pop up so u can click on them. Cameras are pretty accurate. Once u figure out how to work the app u can see the fwys. Helped during icy & snowy conditions so I could determine how bad the roads are so I could call into work 4/5

On the N5, this app has contributed to huge amounts of battery drain recently. Today was the last straw - nearly two hours of "awake" time on a holiday when I never used the app. I like the functionality, but not at the expense of a usable phone. 2/5

Pro: + REALLY helps in bad traffic; lets me re-route on the fly. + Shows alternate routes I wouldn't have spotted. + Holds an easily-accessed list of destinations. Con: - can be hard to distinguish between routes on display. - REALLY want "exit 5B" directions for routes; exit ramps often follow the freeway for 1/2 mile+, weave under it... In heavy traffic (cell on dash) I CANNOT look away from the road to zoom, pan & puzzle out that I need to take exit 5A, no, 5B, oops, missed it 4/5

Wish it had greater (more granular) traffic detail - the smallest section of green/yellow/red bars are kind of large vs. Competitors. However overall these guys did it right and in many ways this is more useful than Google Maps (cameras, etc.). 5/5

Maybe I'm not using it right but all I'm getting out of this app is the time to my destination. Without turn by turn directions, all I see is an outlined route on a map. Am I supposed to zoom in all the time? Am I supposed to know each and every road between my home and work? Maybe the next version will be better. 1/5

Because new version is eating the battery by constantly running in the background. Phone is no longer any use because flat in half a day. Not funny. Fix or get deleted permanently. Having to force quit is just a sign of poor programming. Phone is rooted and every other app works perfectly. 1/5
